Our story began in Kona, Hawaii, where a chance night out led to a lifelong connection. Blake was working on his family’s coffee farm, and Heather was visiting with friends. After a spark at a local bar (soundtracked by our friend and wedding DJ, Shannon!), a farm BBQ, and a few days of swimming with wild dolphins, we were hooked.

Distance couldn't keep us apart. After years of flights between Vancouver and Hawaii—and two years of border closures that tested our patience—we finally reunited in Melbourne in 2021. Today, we live in Port Melbourne with our cat, TimTam. We couldn't be more excited to head back to the Big Island to say "I do" right where it all started.
